Churros for 2: 6 churro sticks and 2 chocolate dipping sauces, milk chocolate and dark chocolate; $14.95

Yum yum yum! Just as I remembered them from Sydney. Light, crispy and super addicting. The dark chocolate sauce was rich and velvety smooth; I could have licked the bowl clean!

Go check it out folks! You won’t be disappointed, but get in early or call to make a reservation cause I’m pretty sure the place is packed to the rafters during Mad March!

Milkaholic Dessert and Breakfast Bar, Norwood

milkaholics

milkaholics
Hot mint chocolate; $5.50

A sweet treat after our Mexcan(t) feast at Milkaholics just off The Parade in Norwood.

Nothing on the dessert menu really tempted our tastebuds on our visit, in fact, most of the desserts on offer that night screamed out sweetness overload, so to steer away from consuming any extra unwanted calories for the night, we settled for a hot chocolate each with the hopes of getting it with some ‘mini choc balls (+$1.50)‘ to add some pizazz to our drinks. Unfortunately, they were out of mini choc balls so we were left with just your normal hot chocolates. I opted for the mint flavoured hot chocolate: strong and fragrant but overwhelmingly sweet; and at $5.50-8.00 for a hot chocolate, that’s a premium price to pay for an average hot chocolate! That is, if you’re willing to add the extras: soy milk +$1.00 and mini choc balls +$1.50… an extra buck for soy milk? Seriously?! :/
