Some snaps (taken before the crowds filed in) from the Cellar Wine Door Festival event hosted a fortnight ago! >.<

Chorizo and sun dried tomato quiche with pasta salad and potato salad; $9.00
Spanish pizza: spiced chorizo, flame roasted red peppers, artichokes and house dried tomatoes and fresh roquette; $11.00
Our stash of wine purchases for the night!
A surprisingly tasty pizza with lots of punchy flavour from the chorizo, flame roasted red peppers and dried tomatoes. The base was super fluffy and thick, on first glance you would’ve thought that it’s be super doughy and heavy but nope, it was light and airy – a welcomed surprise! A good bite to eat to absorb some of the wine sampled throughout the night too! Heheh.

McLaren Vale aisle… took us almost an hour just to finish this section!
For all you wine lovers out there, this event is a must go! You get to wine taste all different wines from all different regions in SA. It took us over an hour to make it through the McLaren Vale aisle and that’s not even stopping at all the stalls set up!
Tips for next years CWDF? Have a desi driver, bring some/lots of monies, taste lots, have fun and bottoms up all around!!
