A quick post on one of my past weekends eating adventures!
Paesano

Focaccia: open grilled foccacia with herb scrambled eggs, cheese and baby spinach and tomato marmellata; $13.90
Napoletana: eggs baked in terracotta pot with Spanish onion, napoletana sauce topped with shaved Reggiano and charred wood oven bread; $13.90
C ordered the foccacia and got a mound of scrambled eggs, baby spinach and tomato marmellata with some bread. Whilst I ordered the Napoletana expecting the eggs to be baked in a terracotta pot, but instead I was presented with a not so appetising plate of eggs drowned in Napoletana sauce and a pile of onions. Disappointing meals and poor service considering that no one acknowledged us when we walked through the doors, and then having to seat ourselves and getting our own menus! It’s safe to say, I won’t be back!

Turkish bread: roast chicken, pesto, mushroom and cheese; $10.00
Scrambled eggs with rocket and mushrooms; $14.00
The usual brunch spot – ordered the turkish bread from their sandwich menu. Should’ve stuck to the poached eggs, chorizo and tomato compote (note to self)! The sandwich wasn’t bad per se, I was just hoping for more… flavour. At least the coffee’s always good!

I have to agree. Poor service and food.
Last time I went there I asked for a tomato based sauce on my meal instead of the cream sauce. Not only did the waiter say it could not be done he also teased me about it and laughed at his own joke.
