Hotel Tivoli, I told you I’d be back! And back i went, to devour your steak this time around.

Char siu pork with apple and cucumber relish and cajun fried chicken strips with blue cheese aioli, 2 entrees for $15.00
YUMMMM! Loved the apple and cucumber relish – fresh, light and refreshing. The char siu pork was flavoured well but a tad overcooked I thought. The cajun chicken strips were salty on its own, but when paired with the blue cheese aioli – a delight!

Eye Fillet (230g) with shoestring fries, shredded lettuce salad, bourbon sauce, cafeĢ de Paris butter and veal jus, $32.00
China Town Duck Burger: Confit Duck, Provolone Cheese, Herb Salad, Mushroom & Ginger Relish, Shoestring Fries & Bourbon Sauce, $29.00
Fabulous steak teamed with a mean stack of shoestring fries. I’ve gotta say, they make some MEAN fries here – licked my plate clean and mopped up all the bourbon sauce!

Guess where you’re taking me if/when I visit?! Muahahahahah – dude, licking my screen at work is not classy. Mmm steak!
Totes dude! Don’t worry, food coma’s aplenty when you visit!
Yeah, I quite liked the Tivoli too. Better directions from the front door to the restaurant would have saved a journey through the front bar though, and ordering at the bar in a fairly upmarket gastro pub was a little weird.
